The route will travel 2 miles down 4th street, from Burden Ironworks Museum to Federal Street in Downtown Troy.
About the route
The Troy Flag Day Parade is expected to be the nation's largest Flag Day celebration, with an estimated forty thousand spectators lining the Fourth Street parade route. The parade will travel north from the Rensselaer County Jail in South Troy to Federal Street in the Downtown Troy. The total length of the route is a 2-mile stretch along 4th street, which will be blocked off from regular traffic for the day of the event.
Please note: Federal Street in Downtown Troy will be blocked off for the day to mark the finish line and allow marching bands to park their buses.
Marching Bands should be dropped off at Rensselaer County Jail and their buses should park on Federal Street to pick them up at the end of the parade route.
